Goodrich- Marnee Valley has learned that not even a tough economy can stop people from celebrating life and its events.
She and her husband, Jeff, are ready to help with complete party planning as the owners of Valley Tent Rental.
Jeff Valley started their business 12 years ago with a single tent and they have recently expanded to include carnival equipment, games, inflatables, dunk tanks, popcorn, sno-cone, cotton candy, and hot dog machines and more. Rentals are available for weddings, reunions, graduation parties, church festivals, picnics and more.
‘We are one-stop shopping for your event,? Jeff Valley said. ‘We do everything from small backyard birthday parties to big corporate events.?
Valley Tent Rental is community-oriented and has provided items to sponsors of events including Good Times in Goodrich, Relay for Life, March of Dimes, and Genesys Regional Medical Center.
A variety of tent sizes are available for rental, as well as tables, chairs, linens, lighting, portable toilets, and trash cans. Entertainment is also plentiful, with clowns, magicians, face painters, caricature artists and a disc jockey all available for hourly rates.
‘We put together proposals and modify it to fit the customer’s needs,? said Marnee. ‘Our business has grown and our passions have come into it. Our house is the constant party, now it’s our job and it’s a lot of fun… We’re reliable and we pride ourselves in repeat business and referrals and love to give successful events, where people have a good time.?
Valley Tent Rental offers competitive pricing and the staff does all set-up and tear-down of party equipment. They will travel throughout Oakland and Genesee counties, as well as Macomb and even Wayne County, ‘pretty much everywhere,? says Jeff.
Valley Tent Rental is a year-round business, assisting with indoor events in the winter, too. Reservations are taken as early as January and February for events to be held in June and July. Jeff said it is best to call Valley Tent Rental to make reservations as soon as a party date is set.
The Valley Tent Rental Festival, a carnival to benefit Outreach East, will be held Sept. 7. The event will feature inflatables, games, a dunk tank and concessions. Donations are requested.
