Around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning, a 52-year-old male was struck and killed in the parking lot at TKMS Trucking on Glaspie.
Preliminary investigation shows that the male, who was an employee, was walking in the parking lot when he was fatally struck by a gravel hauler truck being driven by another employee. Officers from the Oxford Police Department along with Oxford Fire and Rescue arrived and pronounced the subject dead at the scene.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Accident Investigation Unit was called to the scene.
The incident is still under investigation.
