Horse play cost hoopsters a game

The Wildcats were the victims of horse play during last Friday’s loss to LLapeer West.
West’s Anthony Sission made a behind the back bank shot and was fouled as time expired, giving West a 41-38 victory over the Wildcats. Sisson scored a game high 20.
The Wildcats were led by Chris Calvin’s 11 points. Gary Wurtz and Mike Bertling each had 10 points for the Wildcats.
‘I’m proud of the kids and they did a great job. It was one of those tough games and the breaks didn’t go our way. It was a tough league loss,? said Marfia.
The loss drops their record 1-3 overall, 1-2 in the FML. The boys play Rochester Hills Stoney Creek on Dec. 22 before breaking for Christmas. They return to action Jan. 4 at home against Fenton.
