Goodrich- There’s a new pizza place in town.
And sub place. Chicken also. Ribs, too. Don’t forget the ice cream, baked goods, and coffee shop.
It’s all in one stop at Little G’s Pizza & Deli, 8339 S. State St. (M-15). Bill Moonan opened the restaurant, which has a spacious dining area, on Nov. 19. Little G’s replaces the former State Street Slice.
‘We’re not hot and ready, we’re fresh and good,? said Moonan.
Homestyle brick ovens mean customers want to order ahead due to a slightly longer wait during busy times, but crispier crusts. The pizzeria offers a variety of fresh toppings and specialty pizza including the BLT and Little G’s Pizza Greek? with spinach, feta cheese, black olives, yellow peppers and tomato sauce.
Submarine sandwiches offered include Italian, club, meatball and cheese and corned beef and Swiss. Little G’s also offers a variety of salads and homemade pasta dishes including lasagna.
‘We have chicken and ribs coming in December and we offer Cook’s ice cream and Davison Bakery goods? cookies and pies,? Moonan said.
Little G’s delivers and will also cater your events. Moonan, a former Goodrich resident, is excited to open a business here.
‘I like all the people in this community, it’s a great hometown atmosphere,? he said. ‘They support their local businesses and we appreciate it.?
Little G’s Pizza and Deli is open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday.
