Adam Dolan joined eight of his classmates as they each signed their Letters of Intent to continue playing on the next level, Feb. 3.
Dolan, an Independence Township resident and senior at St. Mary’s Preparatory in Orchard Lake, signed to play football at Butler University.
He will be attending the Andre B. Lacy School of Business and will be studying finance with the goal to become a Certified Financial Planner. He received the top academic merit scholarship.
“I was drawn to Butler by the excellent academics and the welcoming coaching staff,” Dolan shared. “The team has a great family based culture.”
He began playing football when he was in third grade.
“It has always been a huge part of my life,” he said. “Football has taught me so many lessons. I love playing the game.”
Dolan played Left Tackle at St. Mary’s Prep.
His advice to aspiring athletes is “if you really want something, you have to be willing to sacrifice and put in the work.”
His parents are Patti and Dan Dolan.
