Angels’ Place Race again going virtual this May, registration open

Paul Maxwell organized the downtown Clarkston Angels’ Place Race 14 years ago to honor his sister, an Angels’ Place resident with special needs, and his mother, one of the founders of Angels’ Place.
Every year the race has taken place has been deemed a success, and even in COVID-19 times, this year’s race is planned for Saturday, May 15 to again support Angels’ Place.
The race includes a 10K run, 5K run/walk and a one-mile family fun walk. This event will be held once again as a virtual race, but if COVID-19 conditions improve and Michigan state law allows, there will also be an on-site race at St. Daniel Church, Clarkston.

Registration for the race is now open at angelsplacerace.enmotive.com and a $5 discount is offered to participants who register before Feb. 28 with code NEWYEAR21.
The first 300 registered 5K race and 10K race participants (one-mile fun walk not included) are guaranteed a finisher’s medal, too.
“Throughout the years, we have been very successful, with help of many local sponsors, participants and volunteers,” Maxwell said. “We would like to thank the many great sponsors.”
