Concert goers have another way to exit DTE Energy Music Theatre during the Sashabaw Road construction project.
Venue owner 313 Presents and Independence Township added a temporary exit at the northwest area of the venue grounds, off the grass parking lot.
Vehicles parked in the grass lot will be directed to exit west on Clarkston Road to M-15, about three miles from I-75. Other vehicles will continue to be directed to regular exit routes. Vehicles exiting through the north to Sashabaw Road are directed south on Sashabaw to I-75, while vehicles exiting on Pine Knob Road are either directed north to Clarkston Road, or on Pine Knob Road to exit west on Waldon Road to I-75.
The Sashabaw Road project includes reconstruction and widening from three to five lanes from I-75 to Clarkston Road. Information and updates can be found at RCOCweb.org/469/Sashabaw-Road-I-75-to-Clarkston-Road.
The DTE Energy Music Theatre parking lot opens by 4:30 p.m. on concert nights. Gates open 90 minutes prior to show time, unless otherwise noted.
