Argument turns to assault

In the early morning hours of July 9, officers were called to the 400 block of Crimson King Circle for a welfare check. 
A 31-year-old Clarkston man was banging on the door of the caller, saying he had been assaulted and needed help. 
When officers arrived, they found the man with visible injuries to his face, arms, and legs. He was not able to walk and reported difficulty breathing. The Independence Township Fire Department came to the scene to evaluate the man and took him to McLaren Oakland.
According to the man, him and his fiancé, a 32-year-old Clarkston woman, had been arguing throughout the day and she hit and drove over him with her vehicle. 
After going to a neighgbor’s house, the man was attacked by his fiancé’s cousin and a friend
The fiancé was found at their apartment in the 400 block of Silverberry Circle where she was taken into custody without incident. 
She was taken to the Independence Township substation to be interviewed by detectives. After the interview, she was taken to the Oakland County Jail pending criminal charges. 
Detectives are continuing with the investigation.
