Bailey Lake racers bring home trophy for sixth year

Bailey Lake Elementary won the trophy for the sixth consecutive year during the Elementary Cross Country Race, Oct. 23.
They had 22 percent of their students participating, beating Independence Elementary which had 21.62 percent of their students participating.
A total of 376 runners from the seven elementaries throughout Clarkston Community Schools participated in the race.
Here are the top ten from each race.
In the half mile race for the Kindergartners through second grade boys race:
Andrew Johnston, second grader from Andersonville, 3:24.5, first place; Aiden O’Neill, second grader from Bailey Lake, 3:26.4, second place; Alex Morgan, first grader from Springfield Plains, 3:27.9, third place; Adam Bradley, second grader from Clarkston, 3:38.8, fourth place; Parker Royse, second grader from Independence, 3:29.1, fifth place; Braden Ryske, second grader from Clarkston, 3:29.5, sixth place; Jack Kilpatrick, second grader from Bailey Lake, 3:29.8, seventh place; Ryan Wilford, second grader from Independence, 3:30.2, eighth place; Ayden Mutter, second grader from Bailey Lake, 3:30.5, ninth place; and Aiden Foster, Kindergartner from Springfield Plains, 3:34.2, tenth place.
For the girls half mile race:
