Basketball honors

Honors for Clarkston Boys Varsity Basketball were recently released.
The Wolves, who finished the season with an overall record of 14-4 and as district champions, were named Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan Academic All-State, with a team grade point averaged.
For individual honors:
Captain Keegan Wasilk was named BCAM Best Division 1 All-State Team; Detroit News All-State Fourth Team; Associated Press Division 1 All-State Honorable Mention Team; Detroit Free Press All-State Honorable Mention Team; Detroit Free Press All-North First Team; Detroit News All-North First Team; State Champs All-Oakland County First Team; MLive Metro Detroit Honorable Mention Team; and All-League OAA Red Team.
Wasilk was received BCAM Top Ten Individual All-State FT Shooters Award, going 87.71 percent in free throws, the seventh highest in the state. He also received BCAM Individual Academic All-State with a GPA 3.640. He was also Team MVP.
Mike DePillo was named Detroit Free Press All-North Third Team; Detroit News All-North Honorable Mention Team;MLive Metro Detroit Honorable Mention Team and All-League OAA Red Team. He was also Team MVP
Captain Nathan Steinman received MLive Metro Detroit Honorable Mention Team.
Isayah Harris received BCAM Team First Award.
Luke Scherler received BCAM Outstanding Senior Student-Athlete Award with a GPA of 4.010; and Team Coaches Award.
Zach Austin received Team Most Improved Player.
