The Brandon Varsity Pom-pon team finished out their season by being the first team in nine years from Brandon High School to make it to States.
The girls placed 13th and making it to states was a great achievement for the team. During the 2007-2008 season nine out of the 15 girls on the team had a G.P.A of 3.5 or higher. Not only did the team’s dedication show when it was time to dance, but it is obvious they also stayed dedicated to their academics.
The pom-pon team will be sponsoring a summer camp the week of June 22-27 at the middle school. The camp is open to girls ages 4-14, and will be from 7:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. There will be a recital on the last day of the camp. Parents can look for more information coming home from the school.
