Rite Aid at 5789 S. Main Street hosts its annual Children’ Carnival, Craft and Car Show on April 29 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to raise money for the Beaumont Hospital Children’s Miracle Network.
The event includes magician and escape artist Robert Zarins from Magic and Escapes. Detroit Area Modern Mopar is bringing about 50 vendor cars, and other classic and show car owners can come for $15 a car, with judging by corporate management.
Scott Hancock from Michigan’s Best Entertainment will also host a Karoke contest, $2 to compete.
Food will be provided by Monkey Business Concession food truck, Backyard BBQ, and a kettle corn vendor. There will also be face painting by Face Flair, balloon artists, a henna tattoo artist, Pure International Ms. Michigan, and Michigan Freelance Mascots.
On May 6 during theM-15 Heritage Route Garage Sale, the Rite Aid will rent out spaces for $20 to the public for craft, flea market, or garage sale items. Plans for the event include a food vendor and raffle.
