It was a messy situation at Daniel Axford Elementary School last week ? not to mention sweet and sticky.
A group of 33 eager students gleefully took turns pounding Principal Chad Boyd and Shawn Regan, a physical education teacher, in the face with plates full of whipped cream as their schoolmates pointed and laughed.
But fear not, this wasn’t part of some carefully-orchestrated mutiny concocted over cookies and milk in the lunchroom
It was actually a fun reward for raising money to improve the Mechanic St. school.
Students raised a total of $28,736 for the PTO during the school’s Fund Run held last fall. The top three earners were Reese Miller ($240), Quinton Rohlfing ($215) and Carter Quehl ($210).
