Comcast, the parent company of Xfinity, announced just prior to Christmas that hackers had gained access to the personal information of as many as 35 million Xfinity customers, including names, contact information, the last four digits of social security numbers, birthdates, and security questions/answers.
Comcast is strongly urging customers to immediately change their passwords as well as monitor other accounts where the same or similar login credentials may be used.
