Everest Collegiate brings home titles

Clarkston Everest Collegiate won their first regional title in nine years with a shutout against Saginaw Nouvel in the MHSAA Division 4 Girls Soccer Regional 15 Final last Friday, 2-0.

The Mountaineers defeated New Haven Merritt in the regional semifinal on June 6, 8-0.
Everest Collegiate moves on to the semifinal against Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett today, June 14 at Troy Athens, 7 p.m.
The winner moves on to the state championship on Saturday at DeMartin Soccer Stadium at Michigan State University in East Lansing, 1 p.m.
The Mountaineers won the MHSAA Division 4 Girls Soccer District 57 title against hosts Auburn Hills Oakland Christian, June 2.
They led 4-0 at the end of the first half and scored two more goals in the second half to win, 6-0.
Walker and Maria Saad led with two goals each. Morgan McNally and Alyse Felix each scored one goal.
They defeated Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest in two overtimes in the district semifinal on May 31, 2-1.
