In Oakland County, one in four homes have radon. With January being Radon Action Month, radon test kits can be purchased from Oakland County for just $5, half the normal price. The city will also be selling the kits for $5 in the office, 375 Depot Road, while supplies last.
Homeowners who have not tested their home in the last 2-3 years are encouraged to buy a kit and test the radon levels.
