Goodrich – While Goodrich school administrators are sorry to see teacher Amy Zagata go, they’ve lined up a good replacement, said superintendent Raymond Green.
The Goodrich Board of Education approved Jamie Hamel as the new Young 5’s teacher for Reid Elementary at last week’s board meeting. Hamel was previously a student teacher for the Goodrich kindergarten program.
Zagata recently offered her resignation due to her husband’s work transfer. She will be moving out of state, said Green.
‘We’re sorry to lose her, but glad we’ve got a good replacement,? he said.
