Kickers shut out Kettering in first round

The Lady Wolves finished their season last week in the MHSAA District playoffs.
The Clarkston Girls Varsity Soccer team opened the playoffs with a 3-0 win over Waterford Kettering, May 28.
They opened the game with a goal made in the first two minutes and followed it with three more shots on goal before they sunk it again.
With 18:28 to go in the first half sophomore Parker Menard kicked passed the Captains’ goalie off after getting a pass from Hannah Siegfried to put the score, 2-0. Allison Roberts scored five minutes later.
The game was called three minutes into the second half due to weather.
They lost to Grand Blanc in the semifinals, 2-0. The girls lose five seniors – Roberts, Emma Eriksen, Katie Miller, Lindsey Renkiewicz and Morgan Todd.
