The rainy weather canceled the girls’ game against Royal Oak on Monday, but they are looking forward to sunny days for Wednesday and the weekend.
‘We have an interesting week,? said Peters, adding the girls will play enough games they can see what they need to work on.
The girls head to North Farmington for a a league game.
“It will be a nice challenge,” said Peters.
Then, the girls head into the Michigan Stars Tournament in Grand Blanc for their 19th year hosting the annual event.
The girls play Roseville at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and for late risers, the next game for Clarkston is at 10:30 a.m.
“I am excited to see how well we do because there are a ton of great teams there,” said Peters. “Our strength is in our pitching. We have real solid pitchers. We have depth and flexibility to do things. We look forward to the challenge.
