Letter to the Editor: Township board issues

I attended the township board meeting on September 20 regarding a request for a public hearing. I made my presentation and gave plenty of documentation. A few of the board members looked almost asleep. That’s because the public notices were printed in the paper before the meeting began.
On September 27, there was a meeting for treasurer interviews, and two interview dates were set. Curt Carson chose the second date for interview and was denied due process. Frank Migliore seemed like a likely qualified candidate. He promoted trust not conflict. Ron Richie insisted that the vote had to go through then, stripping Curt from his due process. Cari Neubeck voted against this along with Jose Aliaga. Pat Kittle came on Microsoft Teams and insulted Mr. Aliaga and endorsed Paul Brown. Brown decided not to recuse himself and voted himself into a cushy job. No conflict of interest there.
At the October 4 meeting, Gerald Fisher pandering for a job! He wants to keep his hands in every aspect of the county as a representative. There is no salary mentioned. We believe that he has done nothing but harm. His son is deputy treasurer and we have a planner from other cities. No coincidence with all the building of the Pulte developments. Fisher starts fires only for the county to hire him to extinguish. Please watch the October 4 meeting on YouTube. This is what our township has turned into.
If you are concerned about the future of the township, please attend the meetings.
