The Road Commission for Oakland County has issued a permit extension allowing Pamar Enterprises to keep Mann Road closed from Clintonville Road to Sunburst Avenue on the Independence Township/Waterford Township border until approximately July 26.
The road was supposed to reopen on July 12, but weather-related issues have delayed paving plans.
The contractor is performing sanitary sewer work on behalf of a private developer.
The detour for through traffic is Clintonville Road to Lake Angelus Road to Rohr Road, back to Mann Road and vice versa.
