Mountaineer Update for May 18, 2022

The Clarkston Everest Collegiate Girls Varsity Soccer team posted two shutouts last week.
They had a 3-0 win on the road at Ann Arbor Greenhills, May 10. They also had a 3-0 win over Genesee Christian on Thursday.
They lost to Lutheran North on May 7, 2-0.
They prep for the MHSAA Division 4 District 56 Playoffs. They play in the semifinal round at Auburn Hills Oakland Christian. Day and time to be announced.
The Everest Girls Varsity Tennis team went 4-4 against Liggett on May 9 and against Regina on May 10.
They won their match against Divine Child on Thursday, 5-3.
The Everest Collegiate-Oakland Christian Softball team posted two wins with a 12-8 victory over Lutheran Northwest, May 10; and 12-9 victory over Whitmore Lake last Thursday.
Everest Varsity Baseball won their game against Genesee Christian last Thursday, 10-7. They split their double header against Cranbrook on May 10. They won the first game, 5-2; and lost the second game, 4-3.
The Everest Collegiate Boys Varsity Golf team won their meet against Liggett on May 10, 163-179; and Our Lady of the Lakes on Wednesday, 154-181 to finished as the Catholic High School League Intersectional League Champs.
The CHSL Championship is on Monday.
The Everest Boys and Girls Track and Field teams competed in a Tri-Meet against Royal Oak Shrine and Bishop Foley last Wednesday.
The boys finished in second place with 48 points. Foley finished with 60 points and Shrine finished with 15 points.
A highlight for the boys was setting a new school record in the 800-meter relay with the time of 1:38.63.
The girls team also finished in second place with 33 points. Foley finished with 66 points and Shrine with five points.
Erin Booms set a new school record in the long jump with the distance of 15-03.25.
The third CHSL Jamboree was cancelled so the Everest Boys team and Foley Boys team finished as CHSL Intersectional League Co-Champs.
The Mountaineers head to the Lower Peninsula Division 4, Region 38 meet at Flint Beecher this Thursday.
They head to the CHSL Championship – Cardinal Division on Wednesday, May 25; and the 63rd Oakland County High School Championship at Clarkston High School on Friday, May 27.
