In the month of December, 2,335 vehicles paid for parking in the Washington and Main municipal lot for a total of $5,772, a 24 percent increase from November and an 8 percent decrease from December 2018, said City Manager Jonathan Smith.
The city issued 211 parking citations in December. More than 26,000 vehicles paid for parking in 2019, paying a total of $64,307. In 2019, 1,466 parking citations were issued, for a total net revenue of $77,753, Smith said.
