A. A Special Meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board was called to order at 6:00 P.M.
B. The Pledge of Allegiance was given.
C. ROLL CALL: Present: Kittle, Neubeck, Loughrin, Aliaga, Brown, Nallamothu, Ritchie
Absent: None
Also Present Dan Kelly, Township Attorney
D. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Approval of Agenda as presented
E. BOARD/PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS: None
F. PUBLIC COMMENT: None
G. AGENDA ITEMS INDICATED IN THE CALL OF THE SPECIAL MEETING:
1. Supervisor Appointment Interviews:

The meeting recessed at 7:25 P.M.
The meeting reconvened at 7:34 P.M.

Motion carried to delay a decision on the appointment until all Board members can review the interview tapes, and to Call a Special Meeting for the purpose of Supervisor Appointment for Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 6:00 P.M.
The Board heard public comments from: Larry Baylis, Rae Luallen, Sam Moraco, Mary Bauer, Norm Froeschke
Motion by carried to query the Board applicants by email as to the intention to run for election next year.
