NOTICE OF PLAN AVAILABILITY FOR REVIEW
Independence Township Parks, Recreation & Seniors (ITPRS) is seeking public input regarding the ITPRS 2023-2027 Master Plan. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources requires a minimum 30-day public review process, starting with first Public Notice of November 14, 2022, and end on January 2, 2022. The plan will be available on the Independence Township/ITPRS website (indtwp.com), and printed copies will be available at the Township Hall, 6483 Waldon Center Drive, Clarkston, MI 48346, and the Senior Center at Clintonwood Park, 6000 Clarkston Road, Clarkston, MI 48348. A final public input/review regarding the plan will be held at Township Hall on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 6:00pm, as part of the regularly scheduled Township Board of Trustees meeting. The Recreation Master Plan consists of desired capital improvements for township parks and trail development over the next five years.
