Independence Township Parks, Recreation and Seniors Master Plan and Safety Path Master Plan
The Independence Township Parks, Recreation and Seniors Department is seeking public input for the 2023-2027 Recreation Master Plan. The first public meeting is scheduled for September 7, 2022 at Bay Court Park, Brady Lodge, 6970 Andersonville Road, Clarkston, MI 48346, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The second public meeting will be held September 27, 2022 at Clintonwood Park, Bartsch Hall, Senior Center, 6000 Clarkston Road, Clarkston, MI 48346 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
The Recreation Master Plan consists of desired capital improvements for the township parks and trail development over the next five years. A public opinion survey is also available for residents and visitors to add input for consideration.
