NOTICE OF SECOND READING OF THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE BY REZONING THE LAND DESCRIBED BELOW ON THE WEST SIDE OF DIXIE HIGHWAY
FROM O OFFICE TO C-1 LOCAL COMMERCIAL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at the regular meeting of the Charter Township of Independence Board of Trustees held on February 7, 2023, the Township Board approved the Second Reading and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance Map Amendment to rezone a parcel located on the west side of Dixie Highway, north of Waterford Road, Section 33 of the Township, commonly known as 5897 Dixie Highway, from O Office to C-1 Local Commercial.

A true copy of the Ordinance Amendment is on file and available for viewing between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Independence Township’s Clerk’s Office, 6483 Waldon Center Drive, Clarkston, Michigan 48346.
