CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF INDEPENDENCE
NOTICE OF TOWNSHIP BOARD TREASURER VACANCY

The Charter Township of Independence is seeking qualified applicants to assume the unexpired term for the full-time elected Township Treasurer position due to the resignation of Treasurer Rachel J. Loughrin. ALL applicants must be registered voters in the Charter Township of Independence, 18 years of age, a U.S. Citizen and live in the Township for at least 30-days prior to appointment. The appointment will be effective upon the date of Board appointment and will expire at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Upon appointment, the applicant must take the Oath of Office.
