CALL TO ORDER: 6:00 P.M.
APPROVED: Agenda as Amended
PUBLIC HEARING: Downtown Development Authority Development & Tax Increment Financing Plan
APPROVED Consent Agenda as Presented
1. Board of Trustees Regular Meeting Minutes of March 21, 2023
2. March 28, 2023 Check Run ($672,560.60) Ratify the March 17, 2023 Payroll ($313,082.61) and the March 2023 EFT Activity ($99,829.70)
3. Resolution 2023-004 – Participate in Opioid Settlement
The following motions were made and passed:
APPROVED: Introduction and 1st Reading of the Downtown Development Authority Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan and schedule the 2nd Reading on the next available Board of Trustees Regular Meeting following the required publication
APPROVED: Cap the Part Time/Seasonal employee pay scale to no more than $17.25 per hour. All pay increases for Part Time/Seasonal employees will follow current procedures and documentation requirements currently established by the Township and approved by the Supervisor. In addition, move to approve 2023 Budget Amendment #13 as presented
APPROVED: Purchase of 22AA type gravel from the Road Commission for Oakland County for the purpose of applying gravel to approximately 1.52 miles of township dirt roads plus Pine Knob Road
ACCEPTED: Proposal received from Amy Cell, LLC for recruitment services for an Information Technology Manager in an amount not to exceed $9,250.00 and direct the Supervisor to sign the proposal as the authorized representative of the Township; approve the amended job description and 2023 Budget Amendment #14 as presented
APPROVED: Creation of Media Relations/Public Information Officer position, a non-union position that will fall under the supervision of the Supervisor’s office, to amend section 106 (Media Relations) in the Employee Handbook as presented in Exhibit B and approve the 2023 Budget Amendment #15 as presented
ACCEPTED: Brand Development Services Bid Proposal from Q & M of Ann Arbor, Michigan for $17,600.00, and direct the Township Supervisor to sign the bid contract
APPROVED: Hiring of a Custodial Employee to provide in-house services for three Township properties and approve 2023 Budget Amendment #16 as presented
