THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF INDEPENDENCE
MAY 16, 2023 – SPECIAL Meeting

CALL TO ORDER: 5:00 P.M.
APPROVED: Agenda as Presented
The following motions were made and passed:
APPROVED: Implementation of a six-month pilot period of a four-day work week, contingent upon a Letter of Understanding with the Union (IWA) substantively as presented. Authorize the Township Supervisor, as chief personnel, and administrative officer, to implement any all-necessary action steps to accomplish same. Marketing efforts to start at least two weeks prior to the first Friday close. The Board to be presented with progress at the May 23, 2023, meeting, to track counter traffic before and after implementation, present utility usage changes, and list the point of contact as the Supervisors Office for comments.
