A Springfield Township construction project on Davisburg Road, Bridge Lake Road, and Holcomb Road was scheduled to start May 2.
Davisburg from Bridge Lake Road west to Eaton Road, as well as parts of Bridge Lake and Holcomb roads, will be resurfaced and shoulders extended.
A stretch of road from Mill Pond Park to just west of Rotary Park will not be resurfaced as that portion of Davisburg Road will be fully reconstructed this summer as part of the Mill Pond Dam removal and restoration project.
Paving is anticipated to be complete by May 17 with permanent pavement markings completed around May 23.
All work is weather dependent.
In addition, Waldon Road is undergoing utility relocation before gravel road paving and roundabout construction at Waldon Road and Clintonville Road in Independence Township. Expect periodic lane closures with flaggers directing traffic. The project began March 6 and the completion date is still to be determined, per the Road Commission for Oakland County.
