Wint’s Healing Hearts Support Group usually meets the second Tuesday of the month in the Carriage House (Senior Center Complex at Clintonwood Park) at 7 p.m.
The next meeting is Tuesday, July 12. The topic is “Grief can be physically and emotionally exhausting. Lessons in self-care; Preparing for life without your loved ones.”
All ages welcome.
No registration is necessary (walk-in), and the meetings are free of charge.
The meetings are led by Leslie Thompson, LMSW, CAADC, CCS, who has been in clinical social work practice since 1996. She has worked with a variety of populations, from ages 9-85. She has experience working with addiction, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, dual diagnosis, medical issues and more.
Thompson has extensive group experience, including working with survivors of grief.
