As local veterans drove up to the Independence Township Senior Center last Friday to pick up a free pancake breakfast, Jeremiah Meyer, Ethan Sowle, Olivia Shock, Averil Hepler, Ellie Smith, and Maya Bergman from the township daycamp at Clintonwood Park showed their appreciation for those that served with homemade signs made at the daycamp.
