Two dozen Mountaineers join the National Honor Society

Everest Collegiate High School and Academy inducted 24 new members into the Christ the King Chapter of the National Honor Society on October 16 after Friday Mass. Current chapter president Stephen Czach welcomed the new members and presented each inductee with their pin after the four pillars were described and the NHS pledge was made. Current members Michael McGrath, Anthony Felix, Lauren Marshall, and Emiliano Ramirez lit the candles for each of the pillars – scholarship, leadership, service, and character – prior to reminding inductees of the importance of these qualities. Principal Gregory Reichert congratulated the group and reminded them of the importance of the name of Everest’s chapter as a reminder that all that they do is centered on Christ. Photo provided
