Going into hour seven, Martha Tuski’s energy was still going strong since she started watching the Oxford track teams take on 14 teams in the MHSAA Regional Meet at Holly High School last Friday.
After watching her daughter, Katie, compete, Martha shared why she loved Oxford.
‘My favorite thing about Oxford, for me so far has been the schools,? she said. ‘I have been involved since my kids were in Kindergarten and I think we have a really good school system – academically, arts, music, band, and sports programs.?
Having another child, Michael an eighth-grader at Oxford Middle School, she was excited when the schools eliminated pay-to-play.
‘That was wonderful,? she said. ‘I know other families have more kids, but it was a nice break for us.?
