Independence Fest is back this year, starting this coming Saturday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at Clintonwood Park, 6000 Clarkston Road.
Kids activities will run all day from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and concessions will also be available.
Live music from Your Generation In Concert begins at 7 p.m., while the Finch Marketplace runs from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The Military Museum is open 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The Cincinnati Circus Thrill Show has shows at noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.
From noon-1:30 p.m., a complimentary lunch will be served for veterans and spouses. Additional guests are $5 per person. Reservations required. Call 248-625-8231 for the VIP list.
The day ends with fireworks at 10 p.m.
