This Good Friday and Easter, millions of people gathered in churches all over the world to remember Jesus’ death on the cross and to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection.
Easter is the story of the greatest rescue mission and miracle in all of history. God came to earth to offer us, and all people, hope and love and grace and healing and purpose.
Through the cross and empty tomb, God has gifted us with forgiveness and eternal life. That’s the incredible Good News of Easter, and we have been called to share it with others – blessed to be a blessing!
Pr. Rick Warren puts it this way: ”Easter is the single most important event in history that changed everything. It split history into AD and BC. And as believers, it’s our greatest opportunity to reach more people for Christ.” I hope and pray that you will take this opportunity to invite someone you know to church this Easter season. I believe that people are more open to accepting your invitation to join you for Easter worship than perhaps at any other time of the year.
