Light poles and landscaping at the gazebo in Depot Park need work.
“The bridge lights have shifted and are leaning – it’s just a matter of time before one of them falls over,” said City Manager Jonathan Smith to Clarkston City Council.
The raised beds are also falling into the water, little by little, due to erosion under their foundations, Smith said.
A possible solution would be to anchor them to the bridge, as is done with the Clark bridge in the park.
They will obtain three bids from local landscape companies and bring them to City Council for approval.
“I’ll come back with recommendations and an expense report to fix it, if needed,” Smith said.
