Clarkston’s net parking revenue for January was $6,008, a 25 percent reduction from December, said City Manager Jonathan Smith.
A total of 1,585 vehicles paid for parking in the Washington and Main city lot, a 38 percent decrease from December, Smith said.
“January and February are understandably the quietest parking months of the year,” he said.
A total of 154 citations were issued, a slight decrease from December, which had intentionally been kept low to facilitate holiday shopping, he said.
