Clarkston United Methodist Church hosts a drive-thru version of its annual Advent Night on Wednesday, December 9, from 5-7 p.m. The event features a live nativity, decorated Christmas trees, hot chocolate, and ornaments for families to decorate.
The church is also collecting donations next Wednesday for HOPE Warming Center in Pontiac. Items that are most needed are warm hats and gloves, large men’s boots (sizes 11, 12, 13+), and individually packaged snacks. Laundry soap and other cleaning products are also needed.
