Ever wanted to try archery? Learn the basics and have fun during two upcoming programs – Archery 101 and Monster Mayhem – at Independence Oaks County Park, 9501 Sashabaw Road.
Monster Mayhem is 5:30-7 p.m. this Friday, Sept. 15. This is a general archery program where instruction is provided as participants take shots at 3D zombies and other monstrous targets on the archery range. This program is for ages 10 and older. Cost is $10/person, equipment included.
Archery 101 is 10 a.m.-noon this Saturday, Sept. 16. Archery facilitators will be on site to provide basic archery instruction and shooting time. This program is for ages eight and older. Cost is $15/person, equipment included.
