Clarkston Area Youth Assistance (CAYA) is hosting its annual charity Bowl-A-Thon from 1-4 p.m. on Feb. 24 at Cherry Hill Lanes, 6697 Dixie Highway.
CAYA offers full time case worker services in the schools, an after school homework club, an annual youth recognition event, a Mentor’s Plus program, Family Education and “Pinwheels for Prevention.”
The non-profit community service organization also offers a variety of financial assistance opportunities that include summer camps, skill building, counseling, drivers training, and sports participation. CAYA is supported by Oakland County Circuit Court, which provides a caseworker, and Clarkston Community Schools.
The fundraiser/awareness event will include a silent auction and raffles.
