Rest area closed

The southbound I-75 Clarkston rest area, south of Davisburg Road in Springfield Township, will have interior and exterior upgrades to ensure the rest area is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and will be closed through late November. The northbound I-75 Davisburg rest area in Springfield Township, has reopened.

Township roadwork this week

The Road Commission for Oakland County expects to close Maybee Road from Dixie Highway to Sashabaw Road in Independence Township from Nov. 10-12 for culvert removal and replacement.
