Kudos to volunteers who braved the wet weather this past weekend for spring cleaning and other work all over town during Clarkston/Davisburg Impact Weekend.
More than 600 volunteers signed up for more than 40 projects all over Clarkston and Oakland County, including the Washington and Main Street corner downtown. Folks with Clarkston Cultural Arts, and at least one duck, took care of that area.
Excellent work, helping out My Habitat Clarkston, Habitat for Humanity Oakland County, Clarkston Community Schools, Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce, Nieman’s Family Market, Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Clarkston Community Church, St. Trinity Lutheran Church, Nemeth Marketing, Independence Township Senior Center, Independence Township Library, Church of the Resurrection, Waypoint Church, Kensington Church and other community and non-profit organizations.
