GUEST VIEWPOINT: Coming soon, TEDx in Clarkston

If you’ve ever enjoyed watching a TED Talk, you’re in luck; a group of 15 Clarkston High School juniors and seniors are hosting a TEDxEd event!
TEDx events are independently organized TED events that showcase short and insightful talks delivered by speakers looking to spread their knowledge and ideas.
This year, Clarkston is hosting our event around the theme of education; speakers ranging from high school students to educators and administrators from around the state of Michigan have applied to speak at our event, and those that have been selected will deliver 10-15 minute talks to the topic of “Designing the Future of Education.”
Unique viewpoints in regards to education advancements in Michigan and beyond will be shared in an engaging and captivating way.
The ClarkstonTedxEd event will take place Saturday, May 19, at the Clarkston Junior High School PAC. Come support local student and administrative speakers, as well as speakers from across the state. There will be opportunities to meet with speakers and ask questions regarding their talk. Visit our website to “meet” the speakers!
