Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year.
It is a good temperature, the leaves are changing, and there are fun activities to do around the state.
I love going to the local cider mills. My boyfriend and I have been trying to go visit a different one each week over the last month.
Going to cider mills is one of my favorite things to do in the fall. However, I really love heading up north and getting to spend time outside and enjoying the beauty of nature.
I had the chance to head to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula this last weekend and it was gorgeous.
My boyfriend and I have a side by side we go riding in when we are in the U.P. We go with his family and family friends and it is so much fun.
When we were there last weekend it was peak for the leaves and it was so gorgeous. On Friday morning, we woke up and it was even snowing just a little bit. It was really amazing.
I would definitely recommend heading to the U.P. sometime in the fall, or even just in general, if you have never been there.
There is so much to do and it is such a beautiful place to travel to. We are lucky it is the same state. I know many of us travel up north through the year, but make sure you go even farther north and head in to the U.P.
There are so many things to do no matter what time of year it is. It is a great experience and an amazing place to vacation. It is so peaceful and a totally different world than down state.
Life is so slow paced in the U.P., no one is in a hurry, you are surrounded by nature instead of people, and it is a relaxing get away.
Michigan has so much to offer and the U.P. is probably one of the best places.
