At a time when we are being bombarded with state, national and international news, we look forward to receiving and reading The Clarkston News.
Recent articles about civic-minded groups like The Clarkston Farm and Garden Club, Clarkston SCAMP and local school activities provide a welcome break from intense news cycles.
The value of community-based newspapers is proven weekly when we receive The Clarkston News.
While we should not ignore what is happening outside our community, we should also appreciate the many positives that are being accomplished locally by students, teachers and so many volunteers in our neighborhoods.
Thank you for providing local information which would otherwise be missed.
