Dear Editor,

I have been an Independence Township resident since 1963, not involved much in politics other than voting and never wrote a letter to the editor.
However, I believe that we need to get a replacement township supervisor now without wasting more time and money.
Putting all politics aside, how about solving this dilemma the way the disciples of Jesus did when selecting a replacement apostle for Judas?
They prayed, asking the Lord to show them which man had the heart that he had chosen for the part.
Then they cast their lots.
