Shaun Hayes, 28, joins Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce as its next executive director.
Hayes worked at Automation Alley for nearly seven years, with experience in membership, sales, event management, operations, and employee training, with achievements in membership retention and operational strategies.
“I’ve been a Southeast Michigan resident for my entire life, so I love being part of the growth of communities such as this,” Hayes said. “The Clarkston Chamber has a wonderful staff and Board of Directors supporting them. I’m thrilled to be working with everyone and excited to see what we can do together.”
The executive search was conducted by a committee of current chamber President Emily Ford of Morgan & Milzow Realtors, and four past presidents, Dawn Horner of Clarkston State Bank, Steve Hyer of IGD Solutions, Tim Martin of Planned Financial Services, and Peg Roth of Washington Management.
