Cosmo Salon Studios is new to town and isn’t your typical salon, according to Bianca Bering, the salon’s creative manager.
“We offer beauty professionals the freedom and advantages of owning their own business without the high upfront costs or risks associated with opening a traditional salon,” said Bering. “We don’t operate like a traditional salon. Our stylists are encouraged to build their own brand, design their own spaces, and create their own schedule.”
Located at 5480 Sashabaw Road, the salon will provide a full lineup of hair, skin, nail, spa, and medical spa services.
“We love the vibe of the area,” Bering said. “There’s a serene hometown feeling mixed with a new-age flair that is truly unique. We felt like this is the perfect place where we can grow, help others to grow, and also be a part of a community.
“We’re really excited to be here and hope to make a positive contribution to our new home.”
The owners are Ricky Manjo and Clark Pattah, with Rachel Normandin serving as the tenant experience manager.
“The inspiration for the way Cosmo is structured came from the owners really wanting to give professionals in the cosmetology world the advantages of building their own brand, being their own boss, and enjoying an ideal work-life balance,” said Bering. “That’s the mission that we will continue to stay true to as we continue to move forward. Something that’s also been important to us is that we find a way to fit into the existing infrastructure. It’s important to us that we’re part of a community ‘renewal’ process.”
